Try re-downloading the client and replace the files in your V62 MapleGlobal folder again. The server is up 24/7, 95% of the time.

Right click the maple icon from your maple folder, and select 'Create Shortcut'. Drag the shortcut to your desktop and wala! You're all set and ready to go. (:
